    Ok, Hi everyone =D
I fell prey to temptation. Yep, so here's my very own rec page, just like hundreds out there =)

I'd like to rec some Mulder/Krycek fics, because it scares me how the x-files fandom, this pairing particularly, is dying. Many authors have moved on, their fics have disappeared from the net, which is such a crying shame, I have no words. Particularly when an extremely talented author takes away his/her work down- it's such a loss. Our loss. (for example you can't find Logan's Second Grace on the net anymore, can you believe that?!)

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Alex Krycek, go here: http://www.nicklea.com/krycek/home.htm
He's a fascinating character to write and play around with, because we know very little about his past or his motivations. A dangerous traitor, but a beautifully sexy and vulnerable one...

As for Fox Mulder. Well, if you don't know him or the X-files, you must have been living in Antarctica or something. No need to introduce him, right? Well here he is anyway, a short description of a complicated man: http://www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~fox_chic/Fox.html

This fandom has so many gorgeous epics and some of them go way back to the 90's! 97, 98, 99... oldies, you could say, but they have a knack for eating your brain and just stealing your heart away...

OK, why don't we start with classics. Let's see...

The GHOSTS and LOVERS Series by Torch

    http://www.strangeplaces.net/torch/xfstories.html

She's aboslutely amazing. Plot, characters, angsty romance and sex, what more could one want? Oh yes - *length*. And you definitely have it.

The HOW TO THROW A CURVE BALL Series by Courtney Grey

    http://www.mindspring.com/~seagray/fanfic.htm

Awesome, elegantly beautifully achingly awesome. It's hard to describe this any other way, but all I can say is that's it's beautiful and absolutely captivating.

    The DEPARTURE series by Imajiru

    http://imajiru.7dragons.net/fiction/xf/index.html

I almost had a cardiac arrest when her stories went back on line! I was all mourning her and all and she came back! So here's to stunning narration and lovely evolution of the M/K dynamic, and to the hottest story ever! This series really touched me, marked me, it's honestly the hottest thing I've ever read in my life, which is saying something [laughs] To tell the truth, when I first read this, I was well and truly shocked, almost disturbed, but it rapidly sucked me in. It has a way of possessing you =P See for yourself, Imajiru's just brilliant.

Read her RESISTANCE, too. It's a shamelessly mind-blowing story, too. A post-apocalyptic AU...

    http://imajiru.7dragons.net/fiction/xf/resistance.html

and QUICKSAND, hurt/comfort fics are so rare with this pairing (it's that hard), esp ones so well done...

    http://imajiru.7dragons.net/fiction/xf/quicksand.html

(did I mention that she's one of my most favourite authors in *all* fandoms ever, definitely the one who's influenced me the most? =P)

ECHO LANE by (the fantastic and absolutely brilliant) Louise Wu

    http://lzl.dreamhost.com/Stories/EL/EchoLane.html

It's long and poignant and beautiful. It's about what ifs and why nots. *Gorgeous*

CHEMISTRY, same author. Long, *hot* and engrossing! A treasure.

THE GIFT OF AN ENEMY BY Sylvia

    http://strangeplaces.net/sylvia/Giftmain.htm

Again, one of the creme of the creme out there. Mulder recieves a gift, obviously, and it's also obvious that this story is *amazing*.

THE HARDENED CRIMINAL by By Orithain and Nicole S.

    http://denofsin.slashcity.net/hccover.html

It's a long AU in a prison, a delicious read, even though I'm not convinced about how it all works out. Non-con warning. But it's truly one of the classics of the fandom and I've read it 3 times, so that must tell you something.

    CAUTERIZED by Orangy & Satina

    http://www.skeeter63.org/~allaire/Cauterized.htm

A painful beauty. A classic. Cauterized is exactly the right title for this story.

    PERFECT PARTNERS by Megaera

    http://www.squidge.org/terma/megaera/perfect.htm

Totally squee-worthy almost-AU. Made me smile like mad, reading this, and like most M/K, actually *all* M/K stories, it's phew, *hot*!

DANCING IN THE SHADOWS by Mort

    http://morts-lair.com/XFfanfiction/Dancing/ShadowsIndex.htm

A recent addition, to my delight. It took me a while to get into this story, but once you do, you won't be able to let go. It's a beautiful and long, a story that comes up with an explanation for the whole x-files plot, which is just amazing, if you ask me.

Ok, I'll leave it at that for now, there will be more recs to follow. Enjoy!
